Eris in Wonder{ful People}land

Thank you to htbthomas, deludedvision, remadi, castor, 16s16, lessrest, free_reverie, and shesdeadjim for the snowflake cookies (and the lovely notes)! I felt all kinds of warm and happy when I got v-gift notifications.

On the note of thanking people who have done Nice Things for me, I've been remiss to not link to this lovely drabble that montycrowley wrote for my birthday. It's Penny and the Tenth Doctor by one of the very most talented writers on LiveJournal or any other website, and I do love it so. *sidles up to ficlet*

I plan on eventually putting together a rec list for iTouch apps, but in the meantime I'd like to point everyone who has a computer in the direction of TweetDeck. There are three things I like about TweetDeck over Twitterific for a desktop Twitter client. First, I immensely like the column layout; second, TweetDeck displays usernames instead of actual names, which I haven't figured out how to do on Twitterific; and third, the desktop version of TweetDeck is free. (That means run, don't walk, and oh lord I do sound like they're paying me subsidies, don't I?)

Basically, I just thought it'd be a good idea to let anyone who cares and sundry know that I am not dead and I have not abandoned LJ as such. I am just being a good little creepy stalker and lurkering. I spend most of my time on LJ reading fic and occasionally commenting and I read my flist regularly. I'm just really sucky at keeping a journal of any kind. :D

My ultimate point is that this journal is not dead, just in case any one was ever wondering.
